Blogging is a new and exiting universe for me. Inspiration is everywhere on the net, too much for me sometimes. You forget to sew while surfing. I found a lovely new brand of children's clothes:
Misha Lulu. Take a look at the beautiful site, I wish I will have one like that in the future.
And what about this little girls bedroom.

Yesterday I went to the "Beparkte Oplage", a crafty market in Antwerp. I have had a stall there, a few months ago, but wasn't satisfied with my sales. I wanted to see how it is progressing. There were some lovely and colourful things for sale. On the photo's you can see an impression. It was lovely weather so Rasmus could play in the fountains. All in all a nice outing and inspirational market.

My little dressdoll arrived yesterday. Now I can show a full silhouet. This is a tunic, made from lovely cotton from Dries van Noten. I have bought in the stocksale. I have added vintage lace details and think it is really pretty.

My head is full of ideas. Blogging is making me even more creative. So many people posting creative superbe things. It is mind blowing. Thank god for the internet.

I restarted my school today. I am studying to become a fulltime patternmaker. I love all things creative and after working in a office, for years, I wanted something else. It is great to finally follow my dream. Today though it was far too hot to concentrate.
My little girl is finally getting bigger feet so now I can order these lovely shoes. I can't wait to see them on her. You can order them on this site

Yesterday I got my copy of "Sewing Green" by Betz White. A book full of info on sewing with repurposed and organic materials, my cup of tea completely. In this book I found a great website:
www.alabamachanin.com.. They make beautiful clothes all by hand. They focus on slow design and sustainability. I love the handmade look of the clothes and could see myself walking in the red dress. Maybe I should get a copy of their book too.......

A nice afternoon in the park with my little ones. Madieke posing on the grass and Rasmus riding on the steamtrains. The steamtrains are a big hobby of a bunch of old guys wanting to be small again. Thank god for them because they give my son a nice time every weekend.
